Prisoner Self-Help Manual to Challenge Gang Validation (SHGV), 5th edition ©2011 ($22)

If you know someone who has been validated by CDCR as a gang member or associate, but has no real links or gang activity, you might be able to make good use of this manual.  You can receive this legal self-help manual by 1) requesting it via email (contact -at-prisons-dot-org) and donating online via Paypal using a credit or debit card (click above), or 2) sending us a check to the address above.  We request a donation for $22 or more per manual to help cover copying and postage expenses.  Use "SHGV" to indicate you would like a Self-Help Gang Validation Manual. You can have us send it directly to someone in prison, but be sure to include their correct CDCR number and PO Box information (pod and cell # also helps).

"Prison Focus" Newsletter:  Our newsletter magazine is primarily by prisoners and for prisoners, their friends and families.  The current and past issues are available here free for download.  You can also receive a paper copy at your home (or send one to your relative or friend in prison).  We request a donation of $20 or more for four issues to help cover editing, printing, and mailing costs.
